These Booking Terms apply to bookings for Wild Winter Expedition. By completing a booking and paying the required deposit, the participant confirms that they have read and accepted these Booking Terms.
Wild Winter Expedition is organised and sold by Dr. Morten Friis-Olivarius and Sandra Abdul Karim, operating through Nordic Breath ApS, Ndr Engvej 1, 2791 Dragør, Denmark (CVR: 37074764).
Dates: 16–21 January 2027. Location: Karpacz, Poland. Accommodation: Green Mountain Hotel. Duration: six days / five nights. Price: €2,550 per person.
The expedition combines winter mountain activities, cold exposure, breathwork, scientific teaching, recovery and related experiences. The detailed programme may be adapted according to weather, mountain conditions, safety considerations and other circumstances affecting the expedition.
The expedition price includes:
Flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, additional hotel treatments and any services not expressly listed as included are not included.
The expedition price of €2,550 per person includes accommodation in a shared double/twin room with another participant of the same gender. Participants travelling alone do not need to arrange their own roommate. Room allocation is organised by Wild Winter. The expedition price remains €2,550 regardless of the final room allocation. A private room may be requested for an additional €400, subject to availability.
The total expedition price is €2,550 per person. A €550 deposit is required to secure a place. The remaining €2,000 is paid by invoice. The full expedition price must be paid no later than 60 days before departure. The €550 deposit forms part of the total expedition price and is not an additional charge. A booking is considered confirmed once the required deposit has been received and any required booking information has been completed.
We understand that plans can change. The €550 booking deposit is non-refundable.
If you are unable to participate, you may transfer your booking to another person who meets all requirements for participation in Wild Winter Expedition. The request must be made in writing to Wild Winter; at least seven days before departure will always be considered reasonable notice. The replacement participant must complete all required booking information, health declarations and other participation requirements. The original participant and replacement participant remain responsible for any outstanding amounts associated with the booking as provided by applicable law.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights to and from Prague Airport (PRG).
Arrival · 16 January 2027. The included group transfer departs Prague Airport at 12:00. Participants are responsible for booking flights that allow sufficient time to arrive, collect luggage and be ready for the scheduled departure.
Departure · 21 January 2027. After breakfast, the included group transfer will depart the hotel for Prague Airport. The expected arrival at Prague Airport is approximately 12:00. Arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, road conditions or other circumstances outside Wild Winter's control. Participants are responsible for allowing sufficient time before their departing flight. Participants who miss a scheduled group transfer are responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transportation.
Wild Winter takes place in a real winter mountain environment. Weather, snow, water conditions, accessibility and other safety considerations may require changes to the planned programme. Wild Winter therefore reserves the right, where permitted by applicable law, to make reasonable changes to routes, timings, locations and activities when necessary. This may include changing or cancelling a planned mountain summit, cold-water location or other activity. Safety comes before the programme. Any material changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Wild Winter includes physically and physiologically demanding activities, including winter mountain hiking, breathwork and cold exposure. Participants are responsible for providing complete and accurate information requested in the Wild Winter Health Declaration. Participants with medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medication use or other circumstances that may affect safe participation should seek appropriate medical advice before participating. Wild Winter may modify, restrict or refuse participation in a particular activity where reasonably considered necessary for safety. Cold exposure is voluntary. Participants are expected to follow safety instructions provided by the expedition leaders and local professionals.
Participation in mountain activities, cold exposure and other outdoor experiences involves inherent risks. Participants are expected to act responsibly, follow instructions, use appropriate equipment and clothing and communicate if they feel unwell or unable to continue an activity. Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes or limits any responsibility or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Participants are required to arrange appropriate travel insurance for the expedition. Participants should ensure that their policy is appropriate for their individual circumstances and covers the activities they intend to participate in, as well as cancellation, medical treatment and other relevant travel risks. Wild Winter is not responsible for losses that could reasonably have been covered by appropriate travel insurance, except where responsibility arises under mandatory applicable law.
In exceptional circumstances, Wild Winter may need to change or cancel the expedition. If the organiser cancels the expedition, participants will receive the refunds and other remedies to which they are entitled under applicable law. If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent the expedition from being performed, the organiser will communicate with affected participants as soon as reasonably possible. Wild Winter is not responsible for participants' independently booked flights or other travel arrangements except where responsibility arises under applicable law.
Wild Winter is a shared group experience. Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants, instructors, guides, hotel staff, local communities and the natural environment. Behaviour that seriously compromises safety or significantly disrupts the expedition may result in a participant being excluded from an activity or, where justified, from the remainder of the expedition, subject to applicable law.
Photography and filming may take place during Wild Winter Expedition. Any use of identifiable participant images or recordings for marketing or promotional purposes will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements and any consent arrangements communicated to participants.
Personal information provided in connection with a booking will be processed for purposes including administration of the expedition, communication, payments, accommodation, safety and fulfilment of the organiser's legal obligations. Health information will be handled with particular care and only for legitimate purposes connected with participation and safety. Further information is available in the Wild Winter Privacy Policy.
These Booking Terms are intended to operate in accordance with applicable Danish and European package-travel and consumer law. Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict any mandatory rights available to a participant under applicable law. Where a provision of these Booking Terms conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will prevail.
